This certificate prepares you to qualify as a contributing member of the allied health interdisciplinary team while meeting the educational and clinical requirements needed to pursue advanced certification in computed tomography. Upon completion of the curriculum—and successful documentation of required clinical competencies—you will have the training needed to apply for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national registry examination in computed tomography.

The CT Career Studies Certificate is structured to balance focused coursework with clinical expectations, making it manageable for working professionals while maintaining rigorous standards.

This program is intended for students who have already completed an approved program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology and are registered with the appropriate certification agency. Students must also maintain current CPR certification throughout the program and meet academic standards from their prior discipline coursework.

As a CT student, you will follow all community college policies as well as hospital policies while enrolled in the program. This professional environment reflects the real-world expectations of advanced imaging settings and supports your transition into specialized practice.
