Our GoalVCCS Workforce Development

The Division of Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Southwest provides assistance, training, and recruitment to encourage growth of business and industry in the area.

The Division responds to the needs of the service area providing customized and specialized training, classes and workshops for business, industry, government agencies, school systems and the community at large. As the outreach area of the college, the division also coordinates several off-campus learning centers.

WDCE staff are very active in the community, promoting the college by serving on boards, making presentations and sharing their professional expertise.
