Veterans Upward Bound is now permitted to offer a monthly stipend of $60.00 to eligible veterans for active participation in program offerings! If you are interested in attending either of the two workshops offered, please contact a VUB representative to register. NOTE: Only one stipend can be received per workshop category. |
Veterans Upward Bound realizes the difficulty in juggling school, a job, and family so in order to make it a bit easier, VUB will provide a $60.00 stipend per activity to each eligible veteran who participates in the VUB activities.
In order to be eligible the individual’s record must be up-to-date, including verification of service (a copy of your DD-214) and verification of income/family size (a copy of your FAFSA form or tax return) as required by the Department of Education.
