BEWARE ANTIVIRUS 2008 Attacks through Web Browser

Symptom: You are browsing a site and a window that looks just like an IE window pops up that says you are infected and you must click OK to run antivirus. The window will only close when OK is clicked. The virus then executes and infects your machine with nasty sites and bugs.

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF
When the anti virus window pops up.. DO NOT CLICK IN IT.
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL keys and then select Task Manager.
When the Task Manager window opens, click on the Application tab.
Select each open browser instance (usually Internet Explorer - IE) and select END NOW.
