Southwest Virginia Community College is excited to present this year's Festival of the Arts.

Since 1995, many countries of the world, including our very own Appalachian Region of the United States, have been the focus of the festival.

DEDICATION to DON ELMES

The 2013 Festival of the Arts is dedicated to Don Elmes for his untiring dedication and work to support the Festival. There are many unsung heroes “behind the scenes” of the Festival but especially Don, whose technical expertise makes the performances “shine” with the best lighting effects he can get. He may be on a ladder, on the catwalk, behind the curtain or up in the light and sound booth, but he deserves curtain calls for his work.
