Welcome to the Student Association for Respiratory Care Website
Of Southwest Virginia Community College!
It’s indeed a pleasure that you’ve chosen to visit our site---the site of our
program celebrating 30 years of education in the cardiopulmonary sciences.
This site was totally designed and operated by Mr. Tim Whited, Journeyman
(Sophomore Class, 2005), Class Treasurer and Webmaster. The Apprentice (Freshman
Class, 2006) Webmaster is Ms. Kristy Dye.
The information included in this site shows a wide diversity of learner
involvement, program activities, and the true joy of having learners that truly
want to learn and grow. I believe that having learners of this caliber, are rare
gems, and the future of our profession!
Again, thank you for joining us in our journey here within our programs of
Respiratory Care, Polysomnography and 12-Lead Electrocardiography, and the
Part-Time Curriculum---Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
