Four Important Steps to Success!

CLICK HERE to complete the ONLINE Application. There is no application fee.
Your UserName and EMPLID for use in Class Registration and other activities will be assigned.
Upon completion of the Web Application, you will be given a default password. You must change this during your first login to your account. Go to MySouthwest Help to learn about the rules for creating a secure password and activating your student accounts.   Note:
You are a "Full-time" student if you plan to enroll in 12 or more credit hours. A student taking less than 12 credit hours is considered part-time.

NEED PAPER? Printable copies of forms used for Admissions & Records are available from our Public Forms site.

Step 2 - Submit or complete placement assessment.

image of scheduleSelect class times from the Course Schedule. You can register anytime ONLINE USING the Student Information System MYSouthwest HOWEVER, DON'T GET CAUGHT WITH MISSING CLASSES OR CLASSES THAT WON'T TRANSFER!!!!

Step 4 - Pay tuition and fees.

Registration is not complete until your tuition is paid in full. 

  • If you are a Financial Aid recipient and your award has been made, your tuition will be charged to your Financial Aid account.
  • If you do not have Financial Aid, click here to learn about payment methods that are available to you.

    Applying for admission to an Allied Health Program? Find additional admission requirements on the Health Technologies Website   For students interested in taking non-credit classes or workshops, it is not necessary that you complete an assessment test.  Complete an application, register for your class and pay the tuition amount as required.
     
    Questions About Dual Credit or Shared Courses? Contact Admissions or your high school counselor.   Still undecided?
