Project ACCESS has teamed up with local county school systems to offer transition services to high school students with disabilities. Project ACCESS believes that developing and building a one-on-one relationship with each student is key to successfully transitioning to work and/or post-secondary education. Each school has access to a Project ACCESS transition counselor. The counselor meets with students to begin the transition process and will continue services with that student post-graduation.
College Day: Each year, Project
ACCESS hosts College Day on the campus of SWCC. College Day provides
information and fun while exposing students to opportunities after
graduation.
Academic Programs: For
students pursuing post-secondary education with SWCC, the Education Support
Specialist will provide campus tours, assistance with admissions, financial
aid, advising, accommodations, learning communities and tutoring services.
