Congratulations to PBL State Conference Winners

The PBL State Leadership Conference was held recently in Richmond, Va. 

SWCC took 16 awards and honors, competing against eight 4-year colleges and universities and four other community colleges.   Eight students qualified to compete in 11 events at national competition in Anaheim, California, June 19-23, 2009.

"It was exciting to hear announcements saying ..'3rd place goes to Bluefield College, 2nd place goes to Va. Tech. and First Place goes to SWCC...' " commented Paris Lester, faculty advisor to the SWCC PBL students.
