NURSING

The nursing program accepts new students each fall semester. Applications must be submitted by January 15th of each year. During the month of February, applicants are notified of testing dates for the PSB Nursing Aptitude Exam.
Selection of students into the program is determined by criteria that includes GPA, completion of general education courses, LPN license, being on the previous year’s alternate list, and PSB Exam scores for academic aptitude and natural science aptitude.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence. Occupational therapy gives people the "skills for the job of living" that are needed for independent and satisfying lives.  A variety of people can benefit from occupational therapy, including those with work-related injuries; limitations following a stroke or heart attack; arthritis, multiple sclerosis, or other serious chronic conditions; developmental disabilities; mental health or behavioral problems;  burns, spinal cord injuries, or amputations; and broken bones or sports injuries.

PARAMEDIC

emt logoYou will find us at most any emergency scene, whether fire, auto accident, a heart attack or stroke victim or in times of disasters. We provide those services at the scene, to stabilize the patient so that he or she can be transported to an emergency center.

There is great need and demand for Paramedics in our region. Job Placement for program graduates is 100%!

respiratory careGiving the breath of life is the focus of this profession, for patients with heart or lung disease. We serve patients in hospitals, rehab centers, skilled nursing facilities, and home care. Job availability locally, regionally and nationally is excellent and is expected to grow.
