Transition to practice seminar series

This dynamic seminar series is designed in collaboration with nurse administrators to meet the specific orientation needs of the contracting agency for new hires. Course content will be tailored to the institution’s specifications and may include policies and procedures, specific skill sets, communications and patient safety standards. This course will be designed as a three-credit course to extend over a fifteen week period and will result in forty-five hours of skills training for nursing graduates. The same process will be employed to design training modules for EMS and allied health personnel.
