Medical Laboratory Technology Program

If you answered “yes” to the above questions, then you may want to check out the Medical Laboratory Technology Program (MLT) being offered at Southwest Virginia Community College.

The MLT program is being taught as a partnership between Southwest and Wytheville Community College. All of the courses including labs will be available on the SwVCC campus. The program will take two years (five semesters) to complete. Upon completion students will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.

 

According to the American Society for Clinical Pathologists the annual average salary for medical laboratory technicians is $35,800 for staff and $41,600 for supervisors.
