Mission Statement |
The SWCC Library is part of the Learning Resources Center, located in Earl E. & Dorothy J. Dellinger Hall. The Library is fully automated and strives to maintain a modern research facility. The mission of the SWCC Library is to serve as a focal point for research and study, to provide students, academic personnel, and community users access to informational resources, and to provide an up-to-date collection of library materials which support and enhance the educational programs of the College. Full access to VCCS/VIVA databases for SWCC students, faculty and staff as well as partial access for other users is a must in order to meet our mission and fulfill our role in the academic community. The library web pages provide quick access as well as instructions on use and staff profiles. Click Library Home in the title graphic on any page to access most commonly used databases and links. |
Library page banners depict art work by Johnny Hagerman. The sculptures can be viewed in the Earl E. & Dorothy J. Dellinger Learning Resources building. |
