| Log In to your MySouthwest account using your SWCC username and password. [If you don't know your SWCC username and password, you can "look up your username and set your password" from the MySouthwest web site. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Next, select the Library Services icon under My Tools to access your college library databases(s). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| From the MetaLinc Services page, select the QuickSearch tab/link (to the left of the Find Database tab). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Click on the Southwest Va. CC circle and enter a query (search term(s)) in the Simple search box. Then press the GO button. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The computer will now search through the SWCC Library Catalog and through EBSCO's Academic Search Complete database for results. Results will be ranked by relevancy. The most relevant results will be at the top of your search results list. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Now, click on a title of interest to you. You may also click on the Resource link within the Full Record View to see another full-text view of the material. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Notes: Within your search results, you can add items to your Shopping Cart (My eShelf) and then go to your MY Space tab to put saved items into Folders for future use. |
