The mission of the annual SVCC Festival of the Arts is to provide an in-depth exploration of the cultural riches of countries and cultures around the world to create a better understanding of those nations and cultures.  Africa,  the spotlight of this year's festival, is the second largest continent, after Asia, covering about one-fifth of the land surface of the earth.  This pathfinder will endeavor to provide resources for the study and exploration of the topic.
