The mission of the annual SVCC Festival of the Arts is to provide an in-depth
exploration of the cultural riches of countries and cultures around the
world to create a better understanding of those nations and cultures.

This year's festival spotlights Eastern Europe and this year's logo design was created
by Brett Steele in the Portfolio Resume class taught by Ellen Elmes.
The United Nations Statistics Division defines Eastern Europe as Belarus, Bulgaria,
Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine
This pathfinder will endeavor to provide library and internet resources
for the study and exploration of these countries.
