About Our Graphic Identity

The logo for Southwest Virginia Community College allows us to communicate a strong, cohesive image of Southwest as a dynamic yet reliable institution of higher education. The logo depicting the state and “SVCC” with the elongated V became our official mark in the early 70’s and is currently the official college logo. The graphic identity guidelines outlined in this publication apply to all Southwest Virginia Community College divisions, departments and off-campus operations and are inclusive of both print and web media.

COLLEGE LOGO

The expectation is that college employees will identify all letterheads, envelopes, business cards, forms, etc. with the same logo.

Please follow the guidelines about its usage. If you have specific questions, please direct them to the Office of Public Relations, Pat Bussard, Public Relations Coordinator, 276.964.7332, pat.bussard@sw.edu.
