The Appalachian Arts Center offers:

-- acting classes for children and youth

-- a playwriting class for teens and adults in the spring semester, in partnership with the Barter Theatre in Abingdon.

-- painting classes are also offered for elementary school students in April or May, taught by master watercolor painter and muralist, Ellen Elmes. (pictured with a few of her young students)

We can provide non-credit online training for a variety of subjects through our partnership with Ed2Go: Online Training

CWES hosts entrepreneurship workshops during the spring semester.
