
Southwest Virginia Community College will offer training in Driver Education for the beginning driver. The program features ten modules of “Behind the Wheel” driving procedures for the beginning student, and the training incorporates the Virginia Curriculum and Administrative Guidelines for Driver Education in Virginia as recognized by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
The training provides a minimum of 36 periods of classroom instruction and 14 periods of “in-car” instruction, which includes a standardized road skills examination.
COST
Classroom and In-Car package are offered as a 3 college credits at the cost of $231.45 for in-state residents. Both day and evening classes shall be offered.
