INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities:
Teaches assigned Occupation Therapy Assistant courses; provides laboratory instruction, clinical supervision and other college related duties as assigned. Some classes will be delivered through electronic distance education equipment. Individual may be assigned to Southwest Virginia Community College, Virginia Highlands Community, Wytheville Community College, and Mountain Empire Community College as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) certified by NBCOT and licensed to practice OT in Virginia, and been actively involved in providing direct patient care and knowledgeable in subject matter through training and experience.
Prefer experience teaching, supervision of clinical students. Must possess excellent written and verbal communications, ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, and work as an effective team member.
Selected applicant will be required to successfully complete a background check prior to beginning employment.
