2007 Issue:
With the appearance of this issue, The Clinch Mountain Review is four years old. Like previous issues, it presents a yearly compendium of writing by Southwest Virginians as well as by those who have lived here previously but have now moved elsewhere.

2006 Issue:
The setting of the works in the CMR 2006 range from the nearby stoplight to California, Canada, and Greece.  But those hoping to read about traditional Appalachian topics like the natural world (and even the supernatural one), farming, coal mining, and moonshine will find some of that, too.

2005 Issue:
Here you will find a wide range in subject matter, from cruising Wal-Mart to back-porch sitting to doing time in jail; from programming a cell phone to getting even with a villain to praising God.

2004 Issue:
This is the first issue of The Clinch Mountain Review. Some of the writers are widely published, and other are taking the risk of putting their writing before the reading public for the first time.
