The
Southwest
Virginia Community College
Computer Learning Center continuously
provides a starting point for those who want to begin
learning how to use computer systems, as well as courses
geared toward more advanced skill levels. When you decide to
take a course at the center, it is helpful to determine
where you want to begin and what you plan to do with your
computer skills after you have completed the courses. The
center is also available to businesses
and organizations that wish to use their own trainer or
schedule specific training with one of our college
instructors. For more information and scheduling, contact
the SwVCC Business Division.

New Microsoft Business Certification offers two levels of
certifications:
|
|
Many participants
take classes to prepare for entry level positions or to
update their computer skills. Others use the courses to meet
specific job requirements and renew certifications.
New courses are scheduled frequently, especially when
students need to learn a new program or several people are
unable to attend regularly scheduled classes. If you don't
see a class on the schedule, you might want to contact the
center to inquire about scheduling a class for your group or
organization.
