Your Gift Makes a Difference
In order to maintain quality educational programs and to enhance the teaching and learning experiences of our Southwest Virginia community, we appreciate support from the community of SWCC Alumni.

Funds raised through the Educational Foundation provide assistance in the following ways:

Community Center
Used for a wide range of services, from educational meetings and activities, to wedding receptions and community concerts and gatherings, the Charles R. King Community Center has proven to be a valuable asset in serving our region.

Scholarships for Students
Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, and/or financial need. They are available to new students entering SWCC for the first time, those students who are currently enrolled, and those students transferring to a four-year institution. The SWCC Educational Foundation manages many different scholarships. These scholarships were created by individuals and corporations dedicated to providing an opportunity for everyone in our community to receive a higher education.
