--Self Service > Campus Finances > View Financial Aid, then select the current aid year.
If no award is displayed here by tuition due date for each Term, you must make arrangements for tuition payment through other payment options.
If you have not yet applied for Financial Aid,
started with your Financial Aid
Application. Financial aid applications must be filed each year. The
summer term is the beginning of a new financial aid year so new applications
should be filed prior to summer term.
Once your FAFASA and SwVCC
Financial Aid applications have been processed, you will
receive an award letter (SAR) detailing the type(s) and amount(s) of aid for
which you qualify. When you register for classes, tuition will
automatically be paid
from the funds available to you in our Financial Aid award system. When you visit the
Campus Bookstore to
purchase your books and supplies, the charges will be deducted from your
award balance if your type of award pays for books. You are responsible for any
balance due on book purchases and tuition above the award balance available.
Once your proof of class attendance sheet is submitted, if
there is a remaining balance on your award after all charges are
processed, a balance check is issued and mailed to you. These checks
are issued 30 days after the last day to register, add a course, change
from audit to credit, and to receive tuition refund as noted on the
Academic Calendar for each term.
If you are awarded Work Study hours (CSWAP), you must:
Submit documentation to your Work Study Supervisor as indicated by the Financial Aid Office.
The Financial Aid Office will provide you with a Work Study Schedule which will indicate the dates that Time Sheets are due and when checks will be issued. Document your hours worked using a Work Study Time Sheet and have your supervisor provide an approval signature.
Submit your completed time sheet to Financial Aid NO LATER THAN 12 NOON according to the schedule provided.
You and your supervisor will determine your work schedule based upon your class schedule and your other responsibilities. As a work study employee, you should give every consideration to your supervisor as you would to a permanent employer. That is, arrive on time (or attempt to notify if unable to arrive) and complete all work as assigned in a timely manner.
