ORIENTATION for Prospective Members
Students enrolled at SwVCC are eligible
for membership when they are enrolled in a degree program, have completed at
least 12 credit hours of classes in a degree program, and have a Cumulative
Grade Point Average as noted here:
(12 - 29 hours: CGPA of 3.5 or higher; OR 30 hours or more: CGPA of 3.25
or higher).
We are
glad that you are interested in becoming a member of
Phi Theta Kappa at Southwest VA Community College.
This Orientation Website is available to eligible students who cannot attend one
of the regular Orientation meetings which are held at SwVCC during the first month of the fall and
spring semesters.
The DEADLINES for Submitting this ONLINE
ORIENTATION are:
Sept. 30 in the Fall Semester, and February 15 for the Spring
Semester.
